This beach is a gem nestled along the verdant coastline, popular among locals. It may not be the most tourist-friendly destination for non-Portuguese speakers, but it exudes a distinct local vibe. While it may not be the cleanest beach, the small beach huts offer a variety of food and drinks, some even accompanied by music. Weekends are particularly lively, with a bustling atmosphere. The highlight of this beach is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of Itacaruça island, which can be easily accessed by the constant stream of taxi boats crossing the 100m stretch of water.
Let me tell you about this "beach" I visited. It's basically a strip of sand with some water nearby. Oh, and let's not forget the crowds of people all trying to squeeze onto the same patch of sand. It's like a game of human Tetris. And don't even get me started on the litter and cigarette butts that litter the beach. But hey, at least the water is salty and the sun is hot, right?
I have a deep fondness for this beach as I spent my childhood there. However, I must advise against swimming in the water at present as it is not up to par.
