We concluded our journey along the Biscayne Coast with a stop at this beach. It's a great spot, particularly if you are travelling with young children. At low tide, the beach is expansive with various spots to take a dip. The ocean side is sheltered, with barely any waves, and the water is shallow enough to wade through even after walking a considerable distance. There is plenty of parking available, along with a few eateries. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards, but sadly, not umbrellas or chairs.
A beach that is wide open at the mouth of a river with strong tides. Not the ideal spot for small children, who may be at risk of being swept away by the powerful currents.
Laida beach is an absolute paradise! Although parking can be a challenge if you don't arrive early, it's worth it for the incredible views all year. I make a point of visiting on New Year's Day for the delicious pintxo. Laida Beach is always a special place in my heart, and it never fails to amaze me.
This location is a stunning sight - the perfect place to relax and take in the view. The sand is soft and inviting, and the ocean is a brilliant blue. It's a great spot to spend the day, soaking up the sun and enjoying the atmosphere.
An absolute blast when the tide is high - you won't want to miss it!
