I give this beach 5 stars for its natural beauty, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. The sand is full of sticks and pebbles, the water is cold, and the two times I visited during a 33 degree day in Santiago, I was met with fog. Although it lacks showers and parking, it's still a great place to spend a day in nature.
The beach located inland from the estuary is incredibly tranquil and pristine.
This place is the perfect spot to kick back and relax. With a little bar and ample parking, it's great for a family outing - the sea is calm and you might even spot a dolphin! Who could ask for more?
One of my favorite places, I have grown up here and even in high season when it is usually crowded with people from Santiago and tourists, it remains a peaceful and clean beach with a great atmosphere. It is protected from wind and strong currents, making it ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Plus, it has gray fine pebbles that add to the charm of the place. If you're looking for a beach with fewer people, there are several coves nearby.
This beach was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, and we were lucky enough to spot a dolphin that seems to be a regular visitor. The parking area is quite large and there is a beach bar nearby, making it easy to access.
