Situated near the port, this beach boasts crystal clear, icy cold waters that are teeming with fish. When the tide rises, the sculpture of Maruxa is literally surrounded by water, creating a breathtaking sight.
I loved the perfect beach for couples, children and families. It is calm and has no waves, so you can relax peacefully. It's easy to access and parking is free. The only downside is that there's a lot of algae, and some places can be a bit dirty. But it's still very beautiful, even if the menu is a bit expensive at more than €50.
This location , located next to the Port of O Grove, is one of the most crowded in the city. The Paseo Marítimo starts here. When the tide goes out, you can find a rocky area with a lot of umbrellas and towels. The sculpture 'Maruxa dos portos' is also here, probably the most famous symbol of the city. Despite its popularity, it may not be the best beach in town.
This place is really nice and clean, and it is located close to the Beiramar promenade, which is full of statues, a shooting range, shops, restaurants, and souvenir stores. The promenade leads all the way to the port, where you can find Salonxa do Grove.
A really beautiful beach with its nice sandy shore and pristine waters, perfect for a refreshing dip. Plus, there are white fine pebbles for added texture. It's also conveniently close to places where you can rent a bike or kayak to explore the Ria and even reach La Toja island. An excellent spot for a day out!
