A great spot for soaking up some sun 🌅. The sand is white and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the day.
Located at the Bouzas area, this small beach is adjacent to the Museum of the Sea, and features a small, sheltered wharf where shellfisher boats are often moored, creating a picturesque, maritime atmosphere. Like other beaches in the area, it is mostly sandy during low tide, but is tranquil and sheltered.
That place has very fine sand and calm waters, making it ideal for children. There is also a bar conveniently located next to the beach, and plenty of natural shade. The only downside is that it's easy to lose out on the sun due to the positioning of the shade. However, it is easy to access, making it a great choice for a day trip.
It is situated next to the museum of the sea, is super cozy but unfortunately, it has a big problem that is becoming increasingly common on our beaches: a lack of social education. The parking area is very dirty and there is a lot of noise on the beach from teenagers with music speakers and children whose parents are unable to get them to play without yelling. Thankfully, the beach is easy accessible, so I stayed for an hour before leaving.
The beach has calm and transparent waters, and the bonus is that it has white sand. Unfortunately, the only thing that has been missing for years is a descent from the parking lot.
