This beach near Guia de Isora has an incredible view and great waves, but it's not the best spot for novice surfers as it can be quite dangerous.
Punta Blanca is truly marvelous - wild, untouched and rocky. It's a popular spot for surfers, who often come here to catch the last wave before the sun sets.
This coastal walk is really pleasant, and you can get to the beach, but it's quite rocky. There are some amazing rock pools when the tide goes out, and you'll see plenty of crabs. Unfortunately, there's not much shade, so don't forget the sunscreen!
If you have never been to an island in the ocean, you must visit this place to witness the power of the waves crashing against the rocks. The view is phenomenal and it is a picturesque spot for watching the sunset. What's more, entry to the beach is free and open to the public.
When you want to head south, take this tranquil path and enjoy the ocean - you can find crabs hiding amongst the rocks, small fish in the water, and lizards on the road. It's an easy-to-access path, perfect for a jog, romantic stroll, or a walk to the next village - and without having to climb any hills!
