This hidden gem of a beach is the perfect spot for a family outing. With its secluded location, it offers a peaceful atmosphere, and the kids will love climbing the rocks. The snorkeling around the cliffs is superb, making it a great destination for a fun day out.
The anchorage was far from impressive. It was a rather uneventful spot, lacking in any kind of excitement. The peace was nice, but it was nothing special.
This place is a fantastic nature reserve with great walks that offer spectacular mountain and sea views. We walked about 3 to 4 miles from San José, taking in some incredible rock formations and cliffs. As we made our way up and down the paths, we could hear the goat/cow bells and were treated to a herd of goats way up high. The paths were a little rocky due to the stormy weather, so caution is advised. Despite this, it is a great place to walk with amazingly green scenery for the south east of Spain. We were also lucky enough to spot a variety of wild flowers and a bright red beaked Finch. easily accessible, making it a great recommendation.
We had a wonderful day at the beach, which is just a 15-minute bike ride away from San Jose. We had a great time swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. Plus, there's a great bar right next door for lunch. What's more, the beach has lovely brown pebbles, making it an even better experience.
The beach offers a great snorkeling experience with no sand to worry about. The area is sheltered from the wind, making it an ideal spot for those looking to explore the underwater world.
