Palamos is the ideal spot for an extended stay in Costa Brava. While the delightful towns like Calella and Tamariu offer a quick getaway, the main beach of Palamos is truly something special. With its cannons, boats, and lively nightlife, there's always something new to experience. Plus, the never-ending selection of eateries is sure to please.
A popular destination during the summer months, though not quite as crowded as Barcelona. The water is exceptionally clear and pristine.
The beach was so tranquil and serene. I had a great time there with some lovely people. It was a great atmosphere to chill out with family and friends. The view was stunning and it was so liberating being able to do what I wanted without any constraints. Every beach enthusiast should definitely check it out!
This spot is a great for a day out. The sand is made up of small stones so it's a good idea to bring some beach shoes. There's plenty of space so you won't feel crowded, and lots of fish to spot with a snorkel and a bit of bread. There's also plenty of cafes and eateries nearby with reasonable prices, like the €3.50 for a bottle of lager and an espresso.
The beach may look pleasant in the winter, but the water is too cold for swimming. During summer, there are two beach cafes that may provide some entertainment, but it's not worth the visit. Even if you're a strong swimmer, the beach may not be suitable for you.
