This beach was far from pleasant - it was littered with plastic debris and swimming was almost impossible without running into rubbish. It is a shame as the beaches just a few miles up the coast were in pristine condition. It's hard to tell if the tourists at this beach are messier than elsewhere, or if the local authorities simply don't care. Out of all the beaches I have seen, this one was definitely the most polluted.
The seaside is stunning. Its rocky terrain provides a bit of shelter from the sun. Unfortunately, there are no amenities nearby. The bar close by is entertaining, but the beach can get very busy.
This beach was great - the sand was plentiful and the water was a beautiful, crystal-clear blue, perfect for snorkeling. It was also very clean, and the sand was complimented by a layer of gray fine pebbles.
That place was an absolute delight! From the crystal clear waters to the snack and drink bar, it was a great experience. We were able to hire two sunbeds, a safe, and a parasol for a reasonable €14. My advice would be to arrive early, as it does get busy. The only downside was the lack of public toilets, as advertised. You have to pay €1 per person to use the toilets in the beach club bar at the top of the hill. Despite this, I would still give it 4 out of 5 stars.
This place has an amazing view and pristine water. The sand is spotless and they offer sun beds with umbrellas and lockers for rent. It's in a great spot, just a short distance from the stores.
