This gem of a hotel on the west coast of Ibiza is the perfect place to get away from it all. Just a short 30 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of the city of Ibiza, yet close enough to San Antonio for convenience. Taxis are the only means of transport here, as the bus routes are slow and infrequent. The three star hotel is surprisingly delightful, and the staff at reception are more than accommodating and willing to change rooms upon request. The poolside is great for both kids and adults alike. Unfortunately, there is no beach on site, but for a small fee of 20 euros per person, you can access the private local beach, with a 10 euro deposit for a towel. All in all, a great experience!
This hotel was great! The food was delicious, the beach was just a short walk away, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The only issue I had was with the cups for all-inclusive drinks. Occasionally, they had a bit of an odor. But other than that, this place was top-notch and I would definitely recommend it.
The dining area chairs were a nightmare - the sound they made when moving around was unbearable. The evening entertainment was a let-down too. Bingo and circus? Not my idea of a great holiday. Live music and getting guests involved in the dancing would have been much better. All in all, it wasn't the best experience.
The staff at Cala Tarida are outstanding and I'd like to give a special shout out to Paula, Luis, Thais, Fatima and Francesco, the bar staff and the receptionists at night. The north part of the beach has crystal clear water, but there's not much to do at night. The hotel is great, however I found the room to be a bit too small. An area that could use improvement is the quality of food at the restaurant - there's lots of choices, but I'd prefer fewer dishes with higher quality. Also, the water from the dispenser has a strong chlorine smell and doesn't taste great.
We recently stayed at Hotel Vibra Ibiza and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The staff were the highlight of our stay; they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were small but clean, and the garden areas were well-kept. Unfortunately, the food was not up to par; it was repetitive and lacked fresh vegetables and appeal. Breakfast was the best of the meals, but it was the same every day. We ended up eating elsewhere for most of our stay. All in all, if the food improved, I would consider returning.
