This place is a great spot if you don't mind a bit of a walk. The cove on the Northeast side of the Island is beautiful, but the beach itself is quite small and the seaweed is a bit of a nuisance. The sunbeds take up a lot of space, and the car park is limited, so people often park haphazardly, making the area even more cramped. If the car park is full, you can always park in the lay-bys on the main road and take a five-minute stroll down to the beach.
We visited Anchorage beach and the water was incredibly clear for up to 200 yards. There was a stone wall with wooden pegs to tie up your dinghy, but the swell made it difficult to dock. The beach bar sold food and drinks, and they also had lawn chairs and boards available to rent. We didn't take advantage of the rentals, but it would be a great way to explore the bay. The beach was mostly stone, and there was parking available near the restaurant and inn. All in all, it's a beautiful spot and definitely worth a visit.
The beach was a sight to behold! The water was simply magnificent and perfect for swimming. Although the beach wasn't huge and the sand wasn't perfect, it was still worth a visit. Beach chairs were available to rent and there was a restaurant nearby. We had the privilege of sleeping in our van right at the parking lot close to the beach - it was a wonderful experience!
A great place to unwind and the sand is a soft white that is perfect for kids to run around and have fun. The waves are calm, but unfortunately, we encountered two jellyfish on April 17th, 2022.
The beach has a nice view, but the pebbles and stones can be uncomfortable. There are more stunning beaches elsewhere on Ibiza. We were looking for a swing in the water, but it wasn't there. It's a great spot for a quick photo opportunity, but not the best to truly relax and take in the beauty of the island.
