I went to Gisamun Beach camping site. It is being managed well.
There are not many surfers today, perhaps because the waves are calm. However, there are quite a few people camping. The bathroom was clean and easy to use.
The small beach is split in half and one side is used exclusively for surfing. The surfing area is crowded with people and there aren't many waves, so I wonder if I really need to surf here. But it seems different every day. The remaining half can be used for swimming, but half of it is also used as a dog beach, so you can enter with your dog and there seems to be a separate admission fee. Only about a quarter of the narrow beach is suitable for general swimming, but it is ridiculously narrow and shallow. The fences are set up pretty close, so you can't go too far. You can't really enjoy the fun of swimming in the sea. Renting a parasol alone costs 10,000 won, and renting a table costs 30,000 won. There is a place called the 38th Line Rest Area, but there is no toilet paper in the restroom. Convenience store and sells various foods. The taste and price are similar to other beaches. However, there is a shower facility with hot water that costs 4,000 won per person. And there is a dog beach, so dogs come in while taking a shower. 1. Narrow. 2. Shallow. 3. It’s not cheap either.
30,000 won for a personal shade area that is not a designated beach facility Life jackets are required for a rental fee of 10,000 won. Adults are also required. It costs about 100,000 won for a single family. The rental fee is cash only, no receipt. Although it is a seasonal business, Yangyang Beach has become very popular since surfing became famous. If you go down a bit and use another beach instead of here, it will be more comfortable and cheaper. For example, go to Jigyeongni Beach.
