The beach is absolutely stunning. However, it can be a bit challenging to access, especially if you usually visit Lighthouse Beach in Ballina.
It's a beautiful spot, especially for catching the breathtaking sunrise and sunset.
There are numerous stunning beaches in the Ballina and Byron Bay area, and this is by far my favorite spot in Australia to relax on the sandy shores and swim in the ocean. It was my first visit to Lighthouse Beach in Ballina, and I was delighted to find an abundance of intriguing crabs, pristine white sand, and impressive waves. Additionally, it was pleasantly uncrowded.
The beach is absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful. However, it could definitely use a thorough cleaning as there are numerous sticks and thorns scattered about. Despite that, it is a perfect spot for families and children, as it is serene and not too rough. Additionally, parking is extremely convenient. I definitely plan on returning, although it would be even better if there were a cafe or some seating available. Kids will absolutely adore this beach, as there are plenty of seashells to collect and it's a great place to spend a day building sandcastles. Overall, it's a fantastic destination for families looking for a fun day out.
During our Christmas stay in Ballina, I decided to take a stroll along the North Wall one morning. I noticed that many others had the same idea, as I encountered people on bicycles, dog walkers, and joggers. The path was spacious and well-kept, and there were a few water bubblers available in case you forgot to bring your own water bottle. It's definitely a worthwhile activity.
