Nice beach, I would recommend the spot on the far right as the water is clear (away from the river). The track to get there is OK (small river to cross at one point but suitable for an SUV).
We love this beach. Beautiful, unspoiled sandy beach. Secluded from the masses, yet easily accessed via a dirt vehicle track leading east from Wonboyn South. Great fishing and swimming beach (unpatrolled). But beware of rips! The beach is approximately 3km long, so finding your own space is easy. Keep an eye out for dolphins and whales 🐋.
We visited Wonboyn Beach and decided to head out to a place called Greenglade. The road is narrow, unsealed and a bit rough in places. I would recommend a 4wd for the 4km trip. On the way to Greenglade we saw a lyre bird and a wallaby. There is a long drop toilet at the parking area. After a very short walk, the Bush opens up to a spectacular white beach. There are rocky headland at each end of the beach. It's an extraordinary place for a relaxing walk and to do a little exploring. This place really is worth the drive.
A spectacular white sand beach. The driving to location felt like it is more suitable for an AWD or 4WD vehicle. No Vodafone reception on location. This track is very difficult to drive through on wet season due to the rough terrain and steep incline on the way out.
Lovely quiet beach, very difficult to get to unless you have an off-road vehicle in some places
