I really enjoyed the smooth, polished rocks on this beach. I had a sore back, so I laid down on the warm rocks and even my neck felt better. The water was stunning and the beach felt very private.
The small bay has a charming stone beach and crystal-clear water. The natural beauty is stunning, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere with few tourists. Just keep in mind that after 6pm, the area is shaded by the sunset.
The beach is absolutely lovely and serene, offering a fantastic view.
This beach is a hidden gem with stunning turquoise water. It's located 3km down a paved road from the main road, with only the last 200m being narrow. There is free parking for about 25 cars, and while there are a few holiday homes, there are no other facilities or food/drink options. A rubbish bin is available in the parking lot. The beach is rocky but the stones are smooth, making it easy to walk on barefoot.
The beach on the open sea side of Mljet island is lovely with pebbles. I got there by bike, just turning left off the main road D120 after Babino Polje. It's about a 3 km ride on a picturesque road lined with alpine pine trees from the crossroads. Be sure to snap some photos as you descend to the beach by bike or car.
